Curly-Haired Horses Are The Cutest Animals That You’ve Never Heard About

0

Many people see horses as incredibly majestic animals because of their natural strength and athleticism. Indeed, they are stunning animals, but few people understand how diverse their appearances can be.

I’ve seen a lot of horses in my life, in all colors and sizes – whatever none pretty like a ‘curly.’

It comes from an unusual gene in their body that offers them curly hair and makes their hair hypoallergenic (a bonus for hayfever-prone or asthmatic horse proprietors!).

Curlies’ thick and cuddly coats make them well-suited to snowy climates, therefore, they are more common in places with cold climates.

Though you could never have heard of them never, they’ve been around for a long time.

They have been in Chinese artwork dating back to 161 AD and were spotted in South America during the 19th century. Sioux Indians held curlies in high regard and curlies were reserved as transportation horses for chiefs and medicinal men.

Regardless of their base, one fact that is positive is their ability to delight and captivate their audience.

Whether they are working hard, interacting with one another, or actually goofing around – these curlies genuinely are something to behold.
