Barbara Peacock is a successful American commercial photographer based in Portland, Oregon. She has recently experimented with a new creative project where she aims to photograph the hidden and transparent complexities of Americans as individuals and as a nation through detailed and intimate portraits taken in bedrooms across the USA.
The people in her photographs come from different backgrounds –Some of them are friends of the author and some others are guests she invited to the project, for example, on social media or by leaving a card with all the information at local shops.
